There are many students from different nations and cultures in Anna's classroom.
The teacher, Mrs. Guzman, wants them to bring a type of food or drink from their culture to class to show their classmates.
Akiri brings some udon soup with thick noodles from Japan to show the class and puts it into cups.
Dag brings some spring rolls from Thailand to show the class and explains that spring rolls are rice wrappers that are filled with carrots, cucumbers, and purple cabbage.
The spring rolls are later dipped into a peanut sauce.

Hummus is a dip made from chickpeas.
Maria brings in some quesadillas from Mexico. Quesadillas is a Spanish word so the two l's make a /y/ sound.
Maria also brings in some spicy salsa to dip the triangle shaped quesadillas in.
Anna doesn't bring in food, she brings in a smoothie and tells the other students the ingredients.
